Not another boring
museum
It really was so dumb
At eight years old he
really wasn’t interested
In old stuff, he’d
rather have gore and blood
His mum promised him
a milkshake for good behaviour
He started to wheeze
with the dust and took out his inhaler
Trudging behind his
parents he stopped in his tracks
His sister bumped in
to his backpack
Watch out!
He was fascinated by
the bike in front of him
He couldn’t read all
the words, his mum
Explained what they
meant
He came away having
learnt
A lot about Harley
Davidson and the past.

Nicely done. Seems like a life-long love has begun.
ReplyDeleteAn instant connection. He'll surely learn a lot more in the future. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteHere's mine!
Past meets present. I hope it's a lovely relationship. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad he found something in there to spark his interest.
ReplyDeleteAt least he learned something. He'll be asking Mum for a Harley-Davidson of his own next!
