Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Tombstones or Cemeteries

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Tombstones or Cemeteries

This series is called Odd Twists meaning we are looking for the bizarre and the common things we don’t always take photos of.  This week the topic is Tombstones or Cemeteries

Here is my entry:  Tombstones or Cemeteries

Gravestone at Eastwell church (ruined building dating from 15th Century)

More graves from Eastwell Church
Churchyard at Wing, Rutland

Statues at Thanet Crematorium
Another Statue from Thanet Crematorium

Churchyard at Wing, Rutland

Hawkinge, Kent Crematorium

Hawkinge Crematorium

This is not a crematorium but the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey London where we had a poppy planted (Plot 302) in memory of my Great Uncle Walter who lost his life in the First World War.
