Cee's Which Way Photo Challenge

Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – July 14, 2017

Cee’s Which Way Challenge

My entry for this week:

Day trip to Margate, Kent, UK.

On the M2 Motorway with our lovely, polite and helpful driver.  The day started with rain and ended with brilliant sunshine.

This way please to the Shell Grotto.

Single file ladies, please.

We bravely descended down the steps to the Shell Grotto.

We stopped for lunch at a wonderful, old fashioned hotel.
But do we take the stairs or the lift?

Then on to our next destination where the sun made its appearance.

A great day out.

Cee's Fun Foto Challenge - Bathrooms or Outhouses

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Bathrooms or Outhouses

Cee says:
This series I call Odd Twists meaning we are looking for the bizarre and the common things we don’t always take photos of.  This week the topic is Bathrooms or Outhouses.  Some fancy hotels and restaurants can have the most beautiful bathrooms.

Here are my photos of Bathrooms or Outhouses with an Odd Twist:

The cat is overseeing the bathroom renovations – she says, ‘this has to go!’

The bath is out exposing pipe and brickwork

Shower unit going in.

Toilet roll holder at the Shell Grotto, Margate, Kent with mosaic tiled border.

Toilet at the Walpole Bay Hotel, Margate. Tiled and old fashioned pipework with wallpaper above the dado rails which continues on the ceiling (sorry forgot to photograph that bit).

Old fashioned light switch in the same toilet as above.

Commode chair in the hand washing area of the public toilets at the Walpole Bay Hotel, Margate.

Old fashioned wash basins at the Walpole Bay Hotel, Margate.

TIDY DESK

There! She’d done it, she had tidied her desk.  Although why her boss had made her do it she really didn’t know.  She knew where everything was.  She might have to hunt and rummage around a bit but she always found that needed piece of paper eventually.

She didn’t go over to his desk and make it all messy so why did he feel the need to have her tidy up her messy desk.  He didn’t work at her desk.  She did.  She did all her work, on time, efficiently and usually got praised for it.  Micro management, bah humbug.

Cee's Fun Foto Challenge: Things with Motors for House or Garage

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Things with Motors for House or Garage

Cee says:

This series I call Photo Ops In Your Own House.  This week the topic is Things with Motors for House or Garage.  I know your first question is, do I have to take all photos in my home and the answer is no your photos can be taken anywhere.  Anything that has a motor or engine is fair game this week.  See how creative you can get on this challenge.  Have fun with this challenge. Use your imagination for this theme.  The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.

Here are my photos:

Hubby fixing the new bedroom ceiling fan and final installation

It is lovely and quiet - only a slight hum

Mobile air conditioner unit – we don’t need it very often in the UK but this summer is an exception
