I can feel Naomi's frustration and hurt-- I like the detail of her mother having to do the same thing. unfortunately, I wondered if Rick was being unfaithful or if it really was work keeping him from being home.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-596586419077019479.post-75702919420919998532014-03-27T06:02:17.120-07:002014-03-27T06:02:17.120-07:00Great set up here Sally. I can't make my mind up if he's genuinely late and appreciative or if he's just worming his way in to her good books.Heather Muskhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06401981352369837021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-596586419077019479.post-3527148842098128122014-03-26T07:38:34.380-07:002014-03-26T07:38:34.380-07:00Hi Sally. I could never do what you do. I'd still be here scratching my head. Now having read your story, I can't imagine any other story. The words and photo flow naturally, not at all forced in order to meet the rules. (And I love the detail of the husband not knowing whether to kiss or shake hands -- that is sooooo real in my experience with social occasions that arise from my husband's work.)
